Shipping & Delivery Policy
Effective Date: July 26, 2026This policy describes how Maison Amrit ships and delivers Products, including transit insurance, delivery verification, and customs responsibility for international orders.
1. Insured Transit
Every piece of jewelry shipped by Maison Amrit is insured during transit. Risk of loss transfers to you only after the package has been securely handed over and verified at the destination address.
2. Processing & Delivery Timeline
Products are made to order. Orders are ready in 10 to 14 business days, shipped insured and tracked door to door across India. This window covers manufacturing, quality control, mandatory hallmarking, and domestic transit combined, not manufacturing alone.
3. Courier Partners
To guarantee the safety of high-value items, we partner only with specialized, reputed secure logistics providers, such as Sequel, DHL, and FedEx.
4. Delivery Authentication (OTP & ID Check)
To prevent unauthorized receipt of your jewelry, our courier partners follow strict verification protocols:
- Delivery OTP: At the time of delivery, you will be required to provide a specific Delivery OTP sent to your registered mobile number. Do not share any other OTP with the delivery executive.
- In-Person ID Verification: The courier executive requires an in-person physical check of a valid National ID (such as an Aadhar Card, PAN Card, or Passport). A snapshot of this ID may be collected by the delivery service to confirm your identity before the item is handed over.
- Packages are not left unattended, dropped at a reception desk, or handed to a neighbor without explicit prior authorization and matching KYC protocols.
5. Unboxing Video Requirement
To process any transit insurance claim for damaged or missing items, a continuous, unedited unboxing video is required.
- Record a video clearly showing the sealed package from all sides before opening it.
- The video must capture the breaking of the tamper-evident seal and the unboxing of the jewelry in a single, continuous take.
- Without this video, Maison Amrit and our insurance partners cannot process claims regarding missing items, empty boxes, or transit damage.
6. International Shipping & Customs
For international orders, the customer is solely responsible for any import duties, VAT, or local taxes levied by the destination country. Maison Amrit has no control over these charges. Your local customs authority may require you to provide a National ID, Passport, or Tax ID to clear the shipment.
