I have always been drawn to lines, angles and proportions, the way a building meets the ground, how two planes meet, or how a small change in proportion can alter an entire form. That way of looking at things became part of how I approached the jewelry.
Sometimes the stone comes first. Sometimes the form does. The piece takes shape in the relationship between them, with the design leading and the diamond resolving it.
